Stampin' Up! Announces Potential Layoffs
Everyone is affected by this recession...How many stamps and supplies can one stamper buy? How sad to think that even our recreational hobbies are going thru a financial crisis. Should I be grateful that SU! is making layoffs to keep demonstrators active? I find it hard to think that someone will be losing their livelihood. There are so many people losing their jobs and it will only get worse. Thanks President Bush!! You sure left a nice legacy for our history books.

I don't think we can really blame a President for a recession. He was a lame duck with a Democratic House and Senate and that's the real problem. I've lived thru several and this shall pass as well. I remember in the 70s paying 36% for interest on loans (I was a finance officer).
Every business is having it's share of struggles. SU is just being proactive.
