Shaving Cream Technique

Mmmmm, a little bit of a messy technique, but it sure smells good. The marbelized pieces of cardstock are actually shaving cream and reinker bottled ink blended and swirled together. This card is for one of my yahoo group technique swaps. The stamp is from BLine Designs.

At the Zoo

It's like visiting no other zoo in whole world. What zoo can you go to that has diamond encrusted cages for their animals? It is the Zoo in my head where only Snobby patrons go. Where the peanuts for the elephants and the bananas for the monkeys are served on silver platters. LOL...Oh, yeah...and where animal poop doesn't smell!! Yep....my kinda zoo!!!

Barking up the wrong tree?

Dog themed swap...yep, another swap card. Gotta love the white gel pen...can't get enough of it. Got a little pen crazy.

Couldn't find my Tree stamp so I couldn't have the dawg barking up a tree, but you get the drift...he's barking in a frame. The dog stamp is from VivaLasvegastamps and I think the frame is Hero Arts, but don't quote me.

This card was made for a Mermaid themed swap for one of my Yahoo groups. I just had to round the corners. I just received my newest toy from The Angel Company and had to play with it. It is a corner rounder made by Zutter. It rounds corners on chipboard, cardboard or a stack of cardstock. New toy...just had ta try it out. LOL

Everyone is affected by this recession...How many stamps and supplies can one stamper buy? How sad to think that even our recreational hobbies are going thru a financial crisis. Should I be grateful that SU! is making layoffs to keep demonstrators active? I find it hard to think that someone will be losing their livelihood. There are so many people losing their jobs and it will only get worse. Thanks President Bush!! You sure left a nice legacy for our history books.

Went blog hopping and came across this hyperlink that I posted to the right. Go ahead and see what type of flower you are. It is quite interesting to see the types of questions that are asked. But the outcome is fun. When I finished it said that I am a Canna flower...I know alot of flowers, but will have to read up on what conditions a Canna flower can withstand. But I did like what they wrote about me.
